"Secret Diplomacy and Its Role in International Negotiation and Resolving Regional Conflicts"
is the title of the book published by Al-Riwaq Publishing House, whose author—Dr. Saif Al-Din Zaman Al-Darraji, a researcher in foreign policy and international security—was hosted in an interactive panel discussion.
In the session, the author explored the roles, functions, and branches of diplomacy, with particular emphasis on secret diplomacy, which he described as highly significant due to its effectiveness in resolving many complex issues away from the media, public opinion, and social networks, thereby achieving its intended goals.
He also provided local and regional examples of secret diplomacy in action, highlighting its crucial role in strengthening and significantly developing international relations.
The seminar, moderated by Mr. Ahmed Al-Hilu, a member of the Riwaq Baghdad Center, concluded with a book signing ceremony attended by a distinguished and engaged audience.
